Anyone up for Japan?
I have a list of hotels to share with those who are planning a trip to Japan.
It’s based on my own experience staying there and I’ll give you my most honest thoughts.
I’ll be sharing with you a few hotels in Tokyo and Osaka which I most frequently visit in Japan.

-Hotel Mystays Gotanda Station-
Less than a minute walk from Gotanda Station. Very convenient to get around Tokyo city on the Yamanote Line. A bustling area with lots of shops, mall and food stalls surrounding the hotel. Room is very small, maybe one of the smallest I’ve stayed so far in Japan but I love how convenient it is to get around Tokyo city. Only ONE stop to Meguro and 3-4 stops to Shibuya and Shinjuku.
-Hotel Mystays Nippori-
Located in a calm and quite town in Nippori which is known as the textile town in Japan. You can find all sorts of textile or fabric here. 2 minutes walk from Nippori Station. Easy access from Narita Airport on the Keisei Skyliner without having to transfer from another station. Room is small but not as small compared to Hotel Mystays Gotanda Station. 4 minutes only to Ueno (Ueno Park is a famous cherry blossom spot) on the Yamanote Line. 30 minutes to Shibuya.
-Hotel JAL City Tamachi-
5 minutes walk from Tamachi Station. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower and Keio University. One of my best favorite hotel in Tokyo. Room is not too small with proper dressing table. Located in a quite environment and convenient to get around Tokyo City. Just ONE stop from Shinagawa Station (where you can ride the NARITA EXPRESS to and fro the airport) and 15 minutes to Shibuya.
-Shinagawa Prince Hotel-
Located in front of Shinagawa Station. Direct access from Narita Airport on the NARITA EXPRESS. A bustling area with shops, station mall and food stalls. Room is small too but this is just the Japanese standards. Grand dining area and breakfast is pretty good with a variety to choose from.

-Hotel Consort Shin-Osaka-
Located in Shin-Osaka and conveniently located less than one minute walk from Subway Midousuji Line Nishinakajima-Minamikata Station and Hankyu Kyoto Line Minamikata Station. 2 minutes to Shin-Osaka Station, 5 minutes to Umeda Station, 10 minutes to Namba Station, 40 minutes to Kyoto, and 30 minutes to Kobe. Good location for those who plan to travel not only in Osaka but also outskirts of Osaka.
-APA Hotel Osaka-Higobashi Ekimae-
Located in front of Subway Higobashi Station. 7 minutes away from Osaka and 9 minutes from Umeda Station. What I love about this hotel is that there’s public bath or I call it rock bath. Comes in great use during cold seasons. Wouldn’t say it’s super convenient as there are many more other better ones around Umeda & Osaka Station.
– HEARTON Hotel Nishi Umeda-
Located in Umeda, and very near to Osaka station by foot. I highly recommend this one if you think Hankyu Hotel is a little too over your budget. Direct access by airport limousine bus from Kansai International Airport to Hankyu Hotel and 5 minutes walk from Hankyu Hotel. Room is slightly wider than the standard rooms you usually get in Japan. Great for shoppers as it’s walking distance to Hankyu Sanbangai, Daimaru, Hankyu Umeda, Hep Five, Whity and many more.
