M Boutique Hotel Ipoh

M Boutique Hotel Ipoh

Are you planning on a trip to Ipoh?

Don’t know where to stay yet?

Looking for a budget and pleasantly nice hotel?

I say you’ve come to the right place!

M Boutique Hotel Ipoh is a hotel featuring an art boutique with urban vintage ambiance located in Ipoh’s Old Town.

A great location with good access to famous local cuisine.

A very homely and cosy hotel which you would want to experience when in Ipoh.

I had an experience staying here during my business trip in Ipoh last month and I would say that I will be coming back here to stay again on my next trip to Ipoh.

All is good. The staffs are friendly, the room is surprisingly clean and comfy and good location which I think overall is worth the value.

What I’m not keen of is only the open air car parks which are provided for in-house guests. Hoping they could upgrade it into a covered car park.

Other than that everything is good to me.

Scroll over for the overall interior of the hotel.

From the entrance of the hotel, there’s this huge glass door with a whole bunch of words.

As you step in, you’ll see this lobby area with very warm and unique ambiance.

The front desk

A boutique just beside the entrance of the hotel selling all sort of stuff under the M Boutique brand.

There’s clothing, mobile accessories, toiletries such as soap bars, home decoration stuffs and etc.

At the other corner, there’s a table full of candles for sale.

The back area which connects you to the open air car park.

Very nicely done too.

The toilet by the side of the back area.

Every corner is just so unique in their way which caught me in capturing them.

There are two dining areas in M Boutique Hotel Ipoh and you are allowed to choose one from both the two.

They’ve got their own cafe, MYTH and the other one is OLD TOWN.

OLD TOWN seems too plain to me so I went for their in-house cafe, MYTH.

As you enter the cafe, a small mini shop of their own products are laying on the shelves ready to go home with you.

Bottles, glasses, plates, napkins, eco bags and etc.

Things are just so nicely decorated everywhere.

MYTH Cafe.. where I had my breakfast on my first stay in M Boutique Hotel.

Not in buffet-style but there’s a menu of 3 to pick from with coffee or tea to choose from.

The waitress recommended their signature breakfast which was the American breakfast.

Nothing fancy nor special. Just an ordinary breakfast you can make it at home too.

Now, let’s explore the room.

I actually picked the room with windows as they have rooms without windows which are slightly cheaper too.

If you’re not particular about lightings or sunlights, then you could actually pick the one without windows as I think the size of the room is pretty much the same.

My room was on the 3rd floor with the Excelsior Theme which was written on their website but it doesn’t really look like one to me as I don’t remember coming across to all these colorful butterfly designs which was described in their website. Anyways, that don’t really bother me much as I’m pretty pleased with the design and effort they’ve used in decorating each room.

I really enjoyed the design of the room I stayed in. Bright and clean enough I would say.

Before I missed out the lift on the ground floor.

As the door opens to the 3rd floor.

A design with very strong impression.

Honestly, all I see in this level are horses. Even the room has a rocking horse ornament which made me thought that M Boutique Hotel is actually based on the horse-related theme.

The hallway to the room.

Here’s my room on the 3rd floor.

Complementary kacang putih snacks with very old skool packaging design.

What I love the most in the room is the toilet design.

I love the white and clean look of the toilet the most.

The slippers are just amazingly NICEEE!! Checkered designs are just simply nice. Never ever came across a hotel which supplies such nice slippers, not even 5 star hotels. Gave them additional points for this. (heeheehee)

M Boutique just makes you go WOW and WOW. Exactly what you see in the picture turns out to be even more real and nice!

A hotel which I will definitely come back to stay again.
