Cameron Highlands: Green View Garden, Lavender Garden, BOH Tea Centre Sungei Palas
Escape from the heat this CNY and head up to the hills.
Enjoy the cool breeze at Cameron Highlands!
This New Year, my family had finally made up their mind to go for a short holiday trip to Cameron Highlands.
Haven’t been to Cameron Highlands for almost 8 years now and I think I see much changes now.
This trip has been a great one as the weather was good and I think I had pretty decent food.
In this post today, I’ll be sharing with you guys 3 places that we visited during our 2 days 1 night stay here.
“Green View Garden”
11, Taman Matahari Cerah, 39010, Kampung Raja,
Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia.
-Main-
Open daily 9am – 7pm
-Branch-

Public & School Holiday 10am – 10pm

Upon arrival, we first visited ‘Green View Garden’ .
This place has changed a lot as I remembered it wasn’t that attractive the last time I visited.
‘Avant Chocolate, Cameron Highlands’ is adjacent to Green View Garden.
The interior of the shop looks very cottage-like.
Chocolates are sold in pretty packaging too.
Spotted the red telephone box in this building and couldn’t resist in posing next to it.
Green garden view must have lots of benches!
As you get into the ‘Green Garden View’ building, you’ll see a food area and then you’ll come to this place called ‘House of Lavender’.
4 lavender specialties are sold here.
Wanted to try the Homemade Lavender Ice-cream Cone but it was sold out so we tried the Lavender Croissant and Lavender Ice-cream Bar.
Honestly, nothing special about the taste.
There is this horse cart displayed in the shop which I think is pretty interesting.
But I’ve got no idea why I did that expression.
Lavender juice and some fake and dried flowers are placed on the cart which is for sale.
Pretty flowers hanging outside the window of the shop.
Got out there and did some photo-taking.
Lavender flowers are so pretty but too little which made them look bald.
Found this spot but don’t know what’s the purpose of it.
Not a toilet and I bet it wasn’t just for decoration purpose.
Just took some pics and ran off.
Sunflowers are my love but why so little?
They look so lonely.
This looks more like a bed of flowers.
These are so pretty too.
I remembered I used to ask my mum to plant this in our garden when I was a kid but because my dad favors plants more than flowers, so I only got to see this in my aunty’s garden.
After some strolling, we sat down and ordered some desserts for tea-time.
A variety of desserts which comes in set ranging from RM11.90~RM17.90.
– Fresh Strawberry Strudel + Fresh Strawberry Juice RM16.90 –
– Bluberry Muffin + Strawberry Tea RM11.90 –
Ordered by my cousin’s wife and I don’t know what’s it called.
– Chicken Mushroom Pie + White Coffee RM12.90 –
All food and drinks are edible and nothing fantastic.
If you were to ask me which is the best, I think I would say the Fresh Strawberry Strudel.
That’s all about this place.
“Lavender Garden”

Entrance Fee
Adult: RM5
Children: RM3
Our next stop after ‘Green Garden View’ was ‘Lavender Garden’ which is the new trend in Cameron Highlands.
I actually wanted to see how good was it when I heard there’s a Lavender garden in Cameron Highlands.
I imagined that it would look something like the one in Hokkaido (though I haven’t been to the one in Hokkaido, only saw from pictures) but it was really disappointing as they do not mainly focus on lavender but a variety of flowers were planted in there.
I think they could improve more on the Lavender garden as I don’t see much lavenders in there except in one area which can be seen from the exit.
Anyways, here’s a rough idea of the Lavender Garden.
It’s actually a hand drawn map.
Lavender ice-cream is sold in the garden too.
So here’s the Lavender field.
Just a very small portion of Lavender and mixed of some other flowers.
I was so tempted to hop over the fence and stand in between the Lavenders but there’s a sign that says ‘No Jumping Over Fence’.
Even the mini copper has purple dots.
Close-up of the Lavender.
So pretty, don’t you think?!
Enjoy strawberry picking on the plateau.
On the way up, found this interesting boots-potted-plants.
View of the garden from the top.
Reached the top and there’s this castle-like structure which says ‘Cameron Lavender’.
Sunflowers here are sold at RM2 per stick and I can see many bought it for Valentine’s.
Nobody’s there to get it for me so I posed with it for self-satisfaction. ^^
Red ones are so out-standing.
Before leaving, I took more pictures with the Lavenders since we’re here at the Lavender Garden.
I wish I could have them in my home garden!
“BOH Tea Centre Sungei Palas”
Jalan Gunung Brinchang, 39000 Cameron Highlands, Pahang

Heard about this place from friends and family but didn’t get the chance to visit here.
Finally, after years we managed to come and see how amazing it was.
Since it was Chinese New Year, this place is so crowded with people that food and beverages were sold out like hot cakes.
We parked our car below and climbed up to the BOH centre.
The route to the centre. (By the way, families with disabled are allowed to drive up.)
Taking my own sweet time to reach the top as I was posing for the camera. ^^
Life’s so good around nature.
By the way, this is the tea plantation.
Half way there and I took this picture below.
Reached the top!
Very nice architecture!
Evidence of reaching the top.
Such a nice place, of course gotta used it as my #ootd background.
After exploring a little, it’s tea time!
Here’s the interior of the cafe.
Old school window panels.
Modern flat railings.
Mountains of tea plantation
Accompanied by a cup of hot tea.
This is what LIFE is about.
Oh well, this concludes my Cameron Highlands 2 days 1 night trip!
Hope you enjoyed browsing through the pictures.
Happy Chinese New Year!

Hi MisSuety,
I like the simplicity and straightforwardness of your blogs. Also, I like your photos and you can really pose, too. I’m just curious and I hope you don’t mind sharing what camera did you use to take those vibrant pictures? Specific to your Cameron Highlands blog, you’re wearing such pretty clothes. Is that type of wear enough to keep you warm? I just had an impression that it’s a bit on the cold side out there so I’m just apparently skeptic.
Hope to hear from you. Keep blogging!
😉

Hi Cleo!
Thank you for the comments.
It’s not that cold during daytime so probably a light sweater should be enough but that differs cos I’m the type who prefer cold to hot so I don’t actually feel cold with shorts & light outer. 🙂
It is your first time to Cameron Highlands??
Hope you’ll have a memorable trip there.
Cheers,
MissSuetY
