One of the top night markets you must visit when in Bangkok!

A train market a.k.a Talad Rod Fai is what I call the vintage treasure market.

You never know what you’ll find here but you will definitely be delighted with most of the pieces you see here.

I’ve actually visited this train market for the very first time during my backdated trip back in February this year, just right a week before Chinese New Year.

Friends who have been here were promoting about this market and I thought I should try visiting once to see what trove of treasure I can get.

Getting here was pretty easy as we rode the taxi but the price we paid for the taxi ride was pretty much expensive as the taxi driver didn’t want to go by meter since it was still a rush hour at that moment when we were about to go to Talad Rod Fai and the journey takes about 45 minutes which is pretty much far away from city.

It’s not that difficult to find this train market once you come by this area. Just look for this huge ship thingy by the road and all you should do is to follow the crowd that are going towards the direction as shown on the ship.

As we stepped into the market, we were pretty amazed by the whole atmosphere which is kinda different from Chatuchak/Jatujak!

So many cool vendors selling really cool customized stuffs and here are the top 2 vendors which caught my attention.

TOP 1 – Customized Name Accessories –

Nothing above 200 Baht for a customized bracelet or necklace!
Unique and personalized which is great as souvenirs!
Haven’t seen any vendors doing this in any night markets in Bangkok city yet except for those on bags/notebooks and etc.
So this is by far one of the best vendor which is the reason you should visit Talad Rod Fai.

TOP 2 – Customized Old Skool Slippers –

Awesomely cool customized slippers you can never find in night markets in Bangkok city.
Pick the base and match it with your favorite straps.
Mixing and matching them just keeps you feeling all excited!
Price starts from 199 Baht if I remembered correctly.

Here’s my customized old skool slippers in “brown & blue” straps. (Pic above – right bottom pic)

Tempted to get the design below but I ran out of $$!! This always happen when in Bangkok!

Oh well! Next time maybe!!

So I guess these are my Top 2 favorite vendors I came across here in this Srinakarin train market.

Also, if you’re looking for some really cute and nice doggie fits, you should visit the one and only pet boutique here!

– Pet Boutique –

Not the cheapest but one of the fittest and nicest quality you can get!

You will also find many vendors selling much more cheaper stuffs like this vendor here selling sneakers for only 150 Baht

– Sneakers for 150 Baht –

Whatt??? Only 15o Baht??? Just grab-lahhh!!

For vintage lovers, you might like stuffs like this here.

or take a stroll and explore the automobile gallery in here

There’s also restaurants and bars in this huge ground.
Many fancy ones to suit your taste.

Well, that’s all on Talad Rot Fai Train Market.
Hope it gives you an insight on this market if you’re planning a visit here to this night market.
